Reef and Wreck Diving in Liguria
All the dive sites within the protected marine area feature the typical flora and fauna of the northern Mediterranean Sea, however they differ widely in the conformation of the seabed.
The descriptions emphasise the distinguishing features that characterise each site. However, bear in mind that the different organisms which inhabit the promontory are to be found in nearly all the habitats.
In fact, the population density of a given organism compared with another, or the likelihood of encountering a particular species of fish may effectively vary from site to site, but nothing rules out the inevitable surprises that are what make our sport so exciting.
During the high season, from May to October, usually we plan two dive trips per day : in the morning boat leaves for two dives at 9:30, in the afternoon departure time is around 15:30 for a single dive.
The dive trip for two dives ( two tanks dive trip ) takes about 4 and a half hours, it includes two dives in the Portofino National Marine Park with a surface interval of about 90 minutes enjoying the several hidden bays of our coastline and the charming seafaring villages of San Fruttuoso and Camogli.
To make your dive trip even more personal and exclusive we oranize night dives, wreck dives and adventure dives with dolphins on demand.
We require a minimum of two divers to organize any recreational dive trip. Although the boat was built and approved to comfortably carry more than 20 divers, our philosophy remains firm and in order to guarantee maximum enjoyment in maximum safety, with the same level of professionalism that has always been our goal, we do not carry more than 8 divers per excursion.
The boat can also be hired to allow larger groups, such as diving schools or clubs, to enjoy our services, in which case the limit is raised to 12 participants per trip, a number that still allows us to maintain the same high standards of quality that have always been an intrinsic feature of our business.
We provide a local instructor or divemaster every 4 divers or less if the level of dive experience and dive skills of the partecipants are not compatible in the same team to assure a safe, extensive and enjoyable dive for all.Personal dive instructor is available for certified divers who has been out of the water for a long time or who wants to improve own diving skills.
